Whenever you go off camping or hiking, there will be no tools for cooking that will be as valuable as a nice set of pots and pans made for cooking at a campsite. These pots and pans will likely be made of some type of material that will be easy to care for during cooking or after. They will have to be easy to clean because Camp cooking often requires cooking over an open fire. Often that material might be titanium. Other materials might not be as good.
Pots and pans used for campsite cooking will usually be fairly compact. It will be much more easy to pack it those pans and pots for camping can be easily stowed in tight places. Because you'll be short on room for transporting your tent, sleeping bags, etc. you'll need to have extra room for various items. Taking along pots and pans that compactly fit together will be very beneficial.
